Anita Roddick backs the Liberal Democrats

Anita Roddick, Founder of the Body Shop, has today backed the Liberal Democrats in the Independent newspaper.

Anita Roddick said "I'm not traditionally a Lib Dem, but I've come to believe they're our main hope… All my life it's been Labour, and in 1997 I was passionate about New Labour getting in. but I've been bitterly disappointed by their records on human rights and devastated by the Iraq invasion."
