Liberal Democrat MPs Malcolm Bruce, Phil Willis and Alan Beith have all been appointed Chairs of Select Committees in Parliament. Chairing a Select Committee is a great honour and is only ever offered to MPs who have shown dedication to proper scrutiny, Parliamentary procedures and processes.

Malcolm Bruce is Chair of the International Development Committee, Alan Beith remains Chair of the Constitutional Affairs Committee and Phil Willis is Chair of the Science and Technology committee.
