Leadership Candidates

An estimated 500 members from across the West Midlands, including many from Birmingham, gathered in King Henry VIII School in Coventry for an official hustings meeting to choose a new Party leader. Their journey was well worth while as the three candidates all gave brilliant speeches and answered members' questions with a depth of knowledge and fluency that was breath taking to listen to. There is no doubt that the Liberal Democrats have a very talented group of potential leaders.

This creates a difficult task for members. Deciding which one of the three will be the best leader is almost impossible but it must be done. When the result of the postal ballot is announced in March we can be sure that the Party will have a first class leader.
