Francis Maude has admitted that the Conservatives may not win the next General Election. Simon Hughes, Liberal Democrat Party President said "This admission that the Tories cosmetic conversion is failing to win over the British people is unsurprising. On the environment, on education and on civil liberties, the Tories have been all talk and no action. They have failed to put forward any actual policies to tackle climate change, have supported Tony Blair's flawed education plans, and caved in on ID cards."
