Liberal Democrats up to 28% in latest Opinion Poll11.34.03am UTC (GMT +0000) Thu 27th Apr 2006
Bob Worcester of MORI has revealed that the Liberal Democrats are now on 28% in the areas that are having elections next Thursday. This is one the highest ever ratings for the Liberal Democrats and with still a week to go before the Election bodes well for the Liberal Democrats to make gains across Birmingham. The Poll that was published in the Sun has the Liberal Democrats on 25% and Labour and the Conservatives on 30% each nationwide. However Bob Worcester was on the ITV lunchtime news saying the Liberal Democrats were actually on 28% in areas where elections where being fought - he did not say what that meant to the Labour and Conservative figures.
