BNP recount takes place, result delayed!

The recount of the Kingstanding election from May has now taken place, but the Judge has refused to announce the result. Judge Robert Turner has delayed the announcement until the end of July until a Court hearing.

The recount was caused by Birmingham City Council admitting to have counted some of the BNP votes twice by mistake and an election petition seeking to overturning the result launched.
