Unfair Council Tax must be abolished

Following research conducted by the 'Tonight with Trevor McDonald' show that showed that millions of householders could be in line for council tax paybacks worth thousands the Liberal Democrats have re-iterated their opposition to this unfair tax.

Liberal Democrat spokesperson Tom Brake MP said "This is further damaging evidence of just how unjust the hated council tax is. Not only is council tax unfair, it is inaccurate as well. Council tax must be abolished and replaced with a tax based on people's ability to pay."
