Asad is thanked for his kindness and support

Every councillor in the Birmingham Lib Dem group has been helped by Asad. Always on hand to deliver leaflets for his friends and colleagues, Asad is known to never leave a door un-leafletted - even taking a bus journey back to deliver to homes if he ran out of leaflets on a round.
Asad supports his fellow colleagues in a number of ways. His kindness and dedication has been an inspiration to lots of people in the team. If they have a lot of leaflets to deliver, they know that he will always help.
Group Leader Cllr Roger Harmer presented a personalised glass plaque to Asad and gave a speech, which was translated and elaborated by former Councillor Shaukat Khan.
A big thank you to Asad for everything he has done, and continues to do.
