Save our Park Petition

The Labour Council plans to sell off our local park on Weston Lane by Auction of February 5th. They are doing this despite failing to consult with local residents, and the fact that our Ward, Sparkbrook and Balsall Heath East, has one of the lowest amounts of Public Open Space in the city. Your local Labour Councillors did not even reply to the Council's request for them to comment on these plans.

We, the undersigned, petition Birmingham City Council, to withdraw Weston Lane Public Open space from the Auction on February 5th and retain it for long term public use. We call on the Council over the medium term to develop this facility as resources permit.
