Stoney Lane Planning Petition

We, the undersigned, object to planning application 2026/05032/PA for the change of use of the premises to an education centre. The proposal would intensify an already congested location on Stoney Lane, creating unacceptable pressures on local roads, parking provision, pedestrians, nearby residents, and local businesses. The area already experiences significant traffic and parking problems around Yew Tree Island and surrounding residential streets, and there is concern that the proposal would further exacerbate these issues. Furthermore, reports that activities have already been taking place prior to the determination of this application raise concerns regarding compliance with the planning process. For these reasons, we respectfully request that Birmingham City Council refuse planning permission.
