Young Liberals in Birmingham

YL Banner

Are you a Lib Dem member aged under 30, doing an apprenticeship, or in full or part time education? Then you qualify as a Young Liberal!

The Young Liberals (YL) exist to represent the interests of young people in the party, make their voices heard, and provide them with development opportunities as members of the Liberal Democrats.

YL organises at the national (federal) level, the state level, the regional level, and have branches and university societies up and down the country!

In Birmingham, there is a Young Liberals representative on the Birmingham City Lib Dems committee, and a place for a rep in each local party.

The West Midlands Young Liberals cover Birmingham and the surrounding region, and can be contacted via england@youngliberals.uk.

Currently, there is an active society at the University of Birmingham (UBLD). If you’re not at the University of Birmingham, you can apply for external membership.
