Meet Dr Jerry Evans
Dr Jerry Evans is a City Alderman. He was a councillor for Springfield ward as it was then, now Sparkhill, from 2003 – 2016. Dr Evans is an archaeologist and specialises in Roman Pottery.
He is standing on a broad platform, but policies that Dr Evans is particularly proud to stand by are the Lib Dem’s plan to:
- Recruit 8,000 more GP’s so that wait times and access are improved
- Reform NHS dentistry so that no one is forced to pay hundreds of pounds for private care.
- Extend free school meals to every child in primary school, and secondary school pupils whose families receive Universal credit
