Meet Cllr Sabah Hamed
Sabah has over 14 years experience working in diverse communities, helping people live healthier and more active lives. Sport and wellness have always been huge passions for Sabah, alongside community development and driving equality across the community.
Having worked across the industry in various sports and health and fitness spaces, Sabah has been able to see the breadth of challenges at the heart of communities. This has given her the experience she needs to really support residents in Perry Barr. Having personally experienced the barriers and challenges that different sectors of the community face, she is keen to support as many residents as she can.
Sabah was elected as a councillor in 2022 and subsequently served as a portfolio holder for adult social care and public health; supporting the most vulnerable in our society.
Sabah knows how hard it is to get decent health and care at the moment and is so pleased that the Liberal Democrats have addressed this in the manifesto.
